Designed to bring the European States together, start conversations and break down barriers. Let's unite and work for a better future. Hell, if we don't then what change do we have of dealing with even more important shit like climate change?
The full print shirt is available now and is limited to just 250.
The EU shoot
Acid FC approached top urban photographer Liam Ricketts with pitching for an idea for the launch of Acid FC's EU football shirt. With the shit-show currently unfolding in UK politics, Liam jumped at the chance of being apart of a politically charged lifestyle photoshoot.
Tim Martin, the founder of Wetherspoons has been quite vocal about Brexit, so knowing we one had a 8am slot to get the shots in the can we thought that combining it with our love for a breakfast pint, Full English and a guaranteed free toilet was a non-brainer.
We shot the pictures at Baxter's Court in Hackney Central - incidentally where Liam took his girlfriend on their first date. At 8am on a Thursday morning, this 'Spoons public house, like so many others, is filled with the lovely smell of the night before and filled with locals enjoying their morning rituals.
Pint and slap-up breakfast ordered, Liam wasn't expecting the photoshoot to carry on too long, with a tap on the shoulder expected soon after he began taking pictures. However, the Wetherspoons staff were very accommodating and we managed to shoot upstairs, on the carpet, the bar, fruit machine and in a corner. And Wetherspoons now have smashed avocado, catering well to the production team.
So, a resounding success. The opposite of Brexit.
